Great dock station worked out of the box with regular mechanical hard drives 3.5 and 2.5 inch for some reason it didn’t work with my Walram SSD i’ll have to try a different brand or a different SSD to make sure it works but it did work with mechanical hard drives which is why i bought this dock for so i could externally work with spare 3.5 hard drives to store data 4sho
